Pterygium

The human eye is the most important part. The white part of the human eye is referred by the term conjunctiva. The pterygium is one condition which gives the disturbances to the white part of the human eye. In this condition, the non cancerous tissues are developed on the conjunctiva. Mostly, it affects the single eye. In rare case, both eyes are affected from the pterygium. The exact reason for this condition is not identified. But the possible cause is due to the excessive exposure to sun and wind. This condition is highly possible for the farmers, fishermen, etc. This condition is rare for the children. The physical examination is enough to diagnose the condition. When this condition does not disturb the vision power, then the treatment is not needed.
