Peripherally inserted central catheter

The peripherally inserted central catheter is a kind of tube which is inserted into the vein presents in the arm. This tube helps the human by carrying the food particles and medicines which are required. It is also used to insert the blood into the body. These catheters are normally used when the long term medical treatment is needed. This tube gives the swollen condition around the arms when it used continuously for more than three weeks. Do not lift any heavy weight substances for some time period. Also, note down your temperature always. If there is any sudden change in the temperature, then the proper medical care is needed. The catheter should be in the pure condition. Then only, it should be free from germs.
