Neonatal sepsis

Neonatal sepsis is one such condition which is possible for the infants. This condition is due to the bacterial activity. The bacterium which is responsible for neonatal sepsis makes the blood impure. There are two kinds of neonatal sepsis are there. The first type is early-onset neonatal sepsis. This type affects the infants within a single day after birth or during the pregnancy period. The second type is late-onset neonatal sepsis. In this type, the infants catch the infection after delivery. The symptoms of this condition are breathing trouble; level of blood sugar becomes low, diarrhea, changes occurring in the body temperature, seizures, swollen condition in the belly region, abnormal heart rate, etc. After diagnosing the condition, doctors prescribe the suitable antibiotics for the affected infants.
