Nutrition and athletic performance

Generally, nutrition is highly needed for the proper functioning of the human body. The good amount of nutrition is available in the food items. It is your responsibility to select properly and intake the nutritious food items. Mainly, athletes need to maintain the sufficient amount of nutrients in their body. Otherwise, the athletes fail to provide the best performance. Sufficient amount of calories, vitamins, proteins, calcium and minerals are essential for the athletes to won the game. The enough amounts of carbohydrates are available in rice, grains, pasta, etc. These food items provide the good amount of vitamins and minerals to your body. Proteins are essential for the athletes. But, high level of proteins will considerably reduce the calcium level. It is must to maintain the body weight in a stable condition.
